Building Beautiful Things

Jim Oates, originally from Pontiac Michigan is a carpenter, home builder and developer. Jim and his partner’s constructed hundred of homes and developments in the Northern suburbs of Atlanta Georgia. His companies Rock Solid Builders, TPOC Builders (The Power of Christ) and Oates Construction worked to build homes and influence the lives of all those they came in contact with, using God’s principles and His solid foundation found in The Bible.

At this stage in life you might find Jim at the beach with his wife, at the gym mentoring young men, or at home napping with his dog in his lap. Kingdom building is his passion—his head is always on a swivel looking for ways to use his God given talents and skills to assist friends and family as together they construct beautiful things in their lives and for the Lord.

  Jim is married to Jo Jo, a University of Georgia Alumni, who is exceptionally talented athlete. After early years as a tennis prodigy she used her knowledge and athletic skills to become a successful personal fitness trainer. Her devotion in the dog rescue field is amazing as is her inspirational role as a warrior for Jesus Christ. Jim and Jo Jo live in Ormond Beach, Florida with their dog, Squirt
